Our cottage is a handsome restored Grade 2 listed Georgian
town house adjacent to the green in Clifton - a prime
residential area of the city. It is very accessible
for the city centre, which can be reached on foot in
around 20 minutes. This is a flat level walk and passes
some of the best architecture in York. Georgian and
Regency houses and Almshouses can all be seen on your
walk into town. The ancient city walls are at the bottom
of Bootham, which you will pass through on approaching
the Minster.
The cottage offers superior well-appointed modern accommodation
whilst at the same time managing to retain the original
period feel of the property.
